2. What Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and company name when you fill out a contact or booking form.
  • Usage data — pages visited, time spent, browser type, device type, and approximate location (country/city), collected automatically via analytics tools.
  • Communication data — messages you send us via our website forms or email.
  • Cookies and tracking data — as described in Section 5 below.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Respond to enquiries and booking requests
  • Provide and improve our services
  • Understand how visitors use our website so we can make it better
  • Send service-related communications (we do not send unsolicited marketing without your consent)
  • Comply with legal obligations under Irish and EU law

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the GDPR, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for analytics cookies and marketing communications, where you have opted in.
  • Legitimate interests — for website analytics and security monitoring, where our interest does not override your rights.
  • Contract — to fulfil a service agreement you have entered into with us.
  • Legal obligation — where required by applicable law.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and third-party analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our website. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to collect anonymised data about website traffic and usage patterns — such as pages viewed, session duration, and traffic sources. Google Analytics uses cookies to identify returning visitors. This data is processed by Google on servers that may be located outside the EU; Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft Corporation) to record anonymised session replays and heatmaps, helping us understand how users navigate our site. Clarity may collect mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behaviour. No personally identifiable information is captured in session recordings. Data is processed by Microsoft and may be stored outside the EU. For more information, see Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Trustpilot

Our website displays a Trustpilot widget to show customer reviews. When this widget loads, Trustpilot may set cookies on your device. This is subject to Trustpilot's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our website and deliver our services (such as our hosting provider, booking platform, and the analytics tools described above). All third parties are contractually required to handle your data securely and in accordance with GDPR.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 2 years. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@aisolutionsireland.ie. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission Ireland.

9. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to personal data is limited to personnel who need it to perform their role.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy
